Below is a list of the current Bible study groups and classes that are happening at Cornerstone. Our hope is that these classes support spiritual growth, fellowship and learning about God’s Word. View the information for each class and click the button to register.

Bible Reading Plan + Bible Discovery Groups (Fall 2026)

One of the most important habits for followers of Jesus is reading and/or listening to the Bible. For many Christians, this important rhythm was either never begun or has been set aside. Therefore, we want to provide an opportunity for every person that calls Cornerstone their local church family to not only read/listen through Scripture, but to then get together to learn how to properly engage, ask questions, and apply the scripture you are reading.

Our Bible Discovery Groups will be available weekly to connect and discuss the reading.

Sexual Sanity for Men

Group begins Wednesday September 16th @ 6PM
Our sexuality has been impacted by the fall and is in desperate need of redemption. We may think we have it under control, only to discover we don’t. Sexual sin is deceiving, and the stakes go beyond marriage, reputation, or ministry. Our faith is at stake. Sex is about worship, which makes our rebellion and corruption all the more serious. “Freedom is the increasing ability to choose holiness out of love for Christ, despite the relentlessness of the temptation.” The enemy is deeply invested in keeping us enslaved and ineffective for the Kingdom of God. Sexual sin is fundamentally IDOLATRY.

Because these things are true, we need a fundamental reset in our hearts and minds. Muscling up and figuring it out is not the answer. The answer is in our love for the Savior. That’s what this time is about. We’re going to discover REAL WAYS and REAL TOOLS to make CHRIST the focus. REAL SURRENDER to the King. This isn’t just another attempt to set these things aside. This is real. This works.

Ongoing Gatherings

  • Impact meets weekly on Tuesday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm in the South MPR ➔ 4364 Valley Fair St.

    The Rock meets weekly on Wednesday nights from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Cornerstone MPR ➔ 2080 Winifred St.

  • Haven meets weekly on Thursday nights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Various Locations.

  • Join us for a time of prayer for our missionary partners who serve around the world. You will get to know them by face and name, where they are serving and the work that the Lord is doing through them in the various nations they serve. This is a time to lift both specific needs and general prayer, asking God for their strength, protection, provision and guidance as they serve in often very difficult circumstances and situations.

    We meet quarterly on a Tuesday evening from 6:30 – 8:00pm in the Main Sanctuary. Visit our Global Ministry page for our prayer night schedule.

  • Flourish is designed for women of all ages, diverse experiences and spiritual maturity. Our desire is to provide a loving and nurturing environment for women to gather throughout the year, to enjoy one another’s company, be inspired by Scripture and personal stories, to know and love Jesus more and to make lasting connections at Cornerstone.

    Once a month, Friday at 7:00-8:30PM OR Saturday 9:30-11:00AM in the South MPR (4364 Valley Fair St) *Friday and Saturday meetings are the same – Choose the one that is best for you!

  • Embracing the Journey is a fellowship group for widows embracing the journey of widowhood. This group gathers once a month for encouragement, support, social activities, and Bible studies. For more details, please call (805) 581-9532


  • If you or someone you know has been walking through the hardship of grief from the loss of a loved one, join us as we look to the comfort of God’s word to find peace and healing on the journey. For more information, please visit the grief share website.

    Meeting Details:
    Thursdays, 6:30-7:30PM in Rm 11/12

    *Griefshare meetings will begin again in the Fall from 09/10-12/10, skipping 11/26 (Thanksgiving) and will have a special “Surviving the Holidays” meeting on 12/17.

  • Our quarterly all-member dinners provide time to build relationships with each other by sharing a meal, taking the Lord’s Supper, giving church updates, and celebrating what the Lord has done and is doing in the life of Cornerstone. Learn more about membership here.
